Mad Men fanart

"Mad Men" is probably my favorite show on air right now (even more so than "Dollhouse" or "30 Rock"). I've loved it since the first episode, and I'm pleased to see it's been renewed for a fourth season. Yay!

Here's a few pieces I've done of the past few years. This first one, I did after the second episode in August '07. Ah, the memories! This was before Peggy Olson had gotten pregnant, and a beardless Paul Kinsey was still hitting on her. (But Pete Campbell is still pouting, so at least that hasn't changed.) This predates the awesome art of Dyna Moe -- I think it might be the first piece of Mad Men fanart ever. I am slightly embarrassed by it, though.

I did this next piece last week, right after episode #6, "Guy Walks into an Advertising Agency." It's Guy "Footless" MacKendrick (Jamie Thomas King) and everyone's favorite office manager, Joan Holloway Harris (Christina Hendricks). Both so pretty, and yet so doomed!

I hope to do more sketches over the next few weeks. This show certainly has its share of eye candy!

Hey! Sweet sketches!

I've entered a contest to win a walk-on role on that retro-licious TV show, "Mad Men".

If you wouldn't mind taking a couple of seconds to vote for me, go to my blog, or copy and paste the following link which goes right to my picture:

Thanks a bunch!
